Found these autumn colour pants at Zara. It’s a good place to check the trends with different looks and one of my clients favourite place to shop cruise. You can learn a lot by comparing high-end brands to those fast fashion brands and eventually develop your eyes to choose certain item by its quality vs price.

The mustard yellow pants caught my eyes. Remember I blogged about keeping my good old friend wardrobe till I meet a rookie?

Thought this could be my rookie. The colour is rather smoky compared to the one I have but actually its good for the season.

But you know what, the silhouette was not that perfect. Then I found another one in camel, which is one of the hot colour for this season. Hmmm, which one should I take? I knew such deep toned colours are usually only available during this season.

Which one would you take?

The one to replace your favourite (but not that perfect)?
The trendy one in a petite price?
Or should you take both?

Haha, I decided to take the Camel for being the colour good for the 2015AW season and knowing that I won’t wear them often in Singapore once the season is gone. (I may wear them for next Autumn if I were in other part of the world.) I have a Bordeaux red pants but I tend to wear them during the specific season. Good thing about the Camel is that it will nicely blend into my wardrobes for its colour tone.

When you are shopping and face the similar situation, think about the occasion you would wear it. Say, meeting a client with that Jacket, having lunch with that silk tops, visiting friend’s place with that T-shirt. If you have 3 styles you can imagine, go for it!

気軽にトレンドを試せるZara。
ちょこちょことトレンドの確認にも行きますし、お客さまとのお買い物でものぞきます。

いつものようにお店をまわっている時に、とあるパンツを発見。

お写真右の、マスタードイエロー。

しばらく愛用している似た色のパンツがそろそろお疲れさんなので、アップデートしたいと思っていました。
→その時の記事。2軍パンツが夏の一時帰国で活躍したという話。

質感はちがうけど、好きな色のひとつでもあるので買おうかな〜と思っていると、お隣にキャメルのパンツを発見。

うーん。
秋にはこちらを履きたい気分。

こちらのパンツ、おそらく同じパターンのボルドーを時々履いていますが、正直、私にはパーフェクトなシルエットではないのです。
なのでさすがに2本色違いで買うのはためらいまして。
どちらもこのシーズンに多くでる色なので、欲しいなら今買った方がいいのですが。

みなさんならどちらを買いますか?
今まで着慣れたものをアップデート?
気になる色に挑戦?
それとも、どっちも買っちゃう?笑

私はちょっと考えて、今回はキャメルのほうを買うことにしました。

シルエット次第では2本買いしたであろう発色です。

お直しせずにも履けたシルエットでしたが、合わせる靴を想像してちょっぴりお直しをしてもらいました。
ちなみにZaraではまつり縫いのお直しは5ドルです。
ジーンズなどの直線縫いはさらにお安かったはず。
1週間という時間はかかるけど、悪くないですよ。

クローゼットを見直して、ちょっとまた気分なお洋服たちの仲間になってもらいましょう。
