[:en]【2nd fashion item I bought in Japan】Fell in love with the colour scheme and the silky fabric[:ja]【一時帰国で2着目購入！】配色と質感に一目惚れしたスカート[:]

[:en]Almost one month has passed, so I am nearing the end of my trip here in Japan.

Following on from my fashion post the other day “A basic pants from Theory Luxe”, I want to talk about the skirt that made me feel super excited!

 

 

Unfortunately I only took this close-up photo of the design…

Look at those gorgeous colours! The colour scheme fit into my beauty pot. And how about the texture?! It’s gotten silk into the fabric and makes it glows. And no, the shape! Everything I picked passed my shopping criteria. Well, actually, the first time I saw the fabric it was used in a coat, and I felt like I “had to have it!”. Alas, there’s really no need for a coat in a place like Singapore, where everyday is just another summer’s day. Despite knowing this, I tried to justify buying the coat over and over again in my mind. “Maybe I could wear it when I come back to Japan?”. “I could wear it when I go on holiday…” But reality struck, and I realised that those excuses just wouldn’t cut it, and finally gave up hope.

And then I found the skirt!! It had the exact same material! It had a form-fitting shape, and would need to be altered to fit my size, but it absolutely suited my figure. The beige accentuated flattering areas, while the cream and blue was reminiscent of the split-complementary colour scheme, which I am quite fond of. It also had grey tones, around numbers 5, 13 and 16 (based on PCCS – Practical Color Co-ordinate System in Japan since 1964). I think that it would also match my “wardrobe staple” white top, and even the small brown accessories that I often wear. Also the glowing material with silk woven into it matches with my skin tone. I had to wait days for it to arrive. And although it needed altering, I couldn’t wait any longer and wore it the next day.

 [:ja]そろそろ一時帰国もクライマックス。
気づけば一ヶ月がたとうとしています。

先日のセオリー・リュクスのベーシックなパンツに続き、ココロ踊るスカートに出会いました。

柄のアップ写真しかなかった・・・

でもその配色がツボ。
さらにシルクの入った質感もツボ。
さらにさらに、そのシルエットもツボ。

実は同じ生地のコートを見て「欲しい！」と。
でも、常夏シンガポールでは、どう考えてもコートはいりません。
で、「秋に日本で着るかもしれないし〜」とか「旅行先で着るかもしれないし〜」と手に入れる口実を考えました。

ま、それも現実的ではないので諦めようとしていたところに、同じ生地のスカートを発見♡

形もタイトなシルエット。

お直しは必要だけど、ワタシの骨格にも合いそうな、好みのシルエット。

そのお色は、得意なゾーンのベージュを頂点にした、黄みよりのプルーなスプリットコンプリメンタリー配色っぽい、これまた好みの色合わせ。

5番、13番、16番あたりのグレイッシュなトーン。

マイ定番の白のトップスにも、よく使うブラウン系の小物にも合いそう。

シルク混の素材のツヤ感が、ワタシの肌のトーンにも合う。

即決でオーダーしてしまいました♡
手元にくるまで数日待ったけど。
お直し必要だけど、待てなくてもう翌日には着てしまうくらい。

そんなスカートを眺めながら、とある妄想を。
