[:en]Today I’m sharing my kitchen cabinet makeover continued from previous posting.
Basically, I didn’t change the layout. As wrote earlier, my cabinet was already functional for me and I wanted this space to be bit more beautifully organized.
I still store everyday glasses, cups and cookbooks at easy-to-reach lower shelf,
and store occasional tableware above. In a white file box, I store small sized books and pieces of papers.

Coordinating with a slim cupboard (previously it was a linen closet in our master bedroom), I used MUJI rattan basket to add a bit of natural, French county taste. While I considered similar IKEA rattan organize boxes for bigger storage space, I was bit uncomfortable putting heavier baskets at that height. A golden theory is; store lighter items above and heavier ones below.

モノの置き場所は変わっていません。
毎日使うものは、すぐ取れる場所に。可能ならワンアクションで取れるように。

下の段には普段使いのグラス、カップにレシピ本。
白いファイルボックスには小さなサイズの本や、ちょっとした紙類を。
(雑誌の切り抜きレシピとかありません?)
普段使わないものは、取り出しにくくてもOK。

今回の目的は、既にある程度機能的だったけれど少し見た目を心地よく・・・だったので、
それほど使わないものはラタンのバスケットに収納しました。
もともとあった場所に、同じアイテム(ゲスト用のグラス、カップ)を収めました。

以前ご紹介した白い収納棚(リネンクローゼットの新たな使い方)が、
ナチュラルというかフレンチカントリーな雰囲気になっているので、
吊り戸棚の中もそんなテイストにまとめてみました。
といっても素材や色味を合わせただけなんですが。

ふう。
我が家のキッチン結構公開してきましたね。笑
リアルなお友達もブログを読んでくれているのでなんだか気恥かしいですが、
「みんなどうしてるのかしら?」とどなたかの参考になれば☆
